“Llamas and Luchadors is an album that was created out of the need to bend the current music trends into something more unique. RE-PLXY, Coach P of Global Money World, and myself (Rebel Kuzco) took 2 years trying to find the right way to blend backpack rap level lyricism with trap style beats and punk rock vocal textures. The result is Llamas and Luchadors. “Die With Memories, not Dreams” EP

This project was special to me for Many reasons, but the biggest one would have to be that it helped me fall back in love with my ability to create and make good music. 

I struggled a lot in life, and after while I fell out of love with my passion for music for a long time. One day I woke up and was overwhelmed with emotion from life and just had the urge to write again. 

Then the idea for an EP hit. My thought process was that if I died today I wouldn’t have any memories from at least attempting to chase it. You know those moments where You just create something dope and you just get so proud and happy about it? I mean this was my DREAM! I didn’t want to be on my death bed knowing I didn’t give myself a fair shot at this. Which brought me to the title “DIE WITH MEMORIES NOT DREAMS “

RE-PLXY played a HUGE roll in this process. Just believing in me and helping me grow as an artist while creating this EP. He was always there giving me that push to be confident and creative and to stop second guessing myself. On top of us already being fam! We got to bond and the sessions never felt like work, just flat out fun! We put A LOT of work and time into this project and it’s dope to see it all come together!

4:44 EP

“4:44 the EP is a compilation of moments & feelings in time throughout my life as a young teen. During some of those moments, i questioned my existence. Depression had overcame my mind, and the only way to release those pent up emotions in a positive way was to write them in poems. The first two tracks convey those emotions into a mixture of spoken word and melodies. The last two tracks are a bit more on the uplifting side, filled with bouts about true love and hype rhymes of shining through the storm . This project means so much to me because not only is it my first official project, but because of how much vulnerability and thought went behind it. How i had to relive those moments to give the audience pure and raw emotion, in order for them to be able to truly appreciate this project just as much as i do. And with the help of RE-PLXY, we were able to bring it all to life with it being truly a beautiful & sentimental experience overall. I call this project 4:44 because it is personally my Universal number. If you don't know abound Numerology already, i suggest you take a moment to learn about it. It will change your life.
